The YWR are once again proud to be hosting members of the Hull and Barnsley Railway Stock Fund at the Fimber Halt site.
The H&BRSF team will be bringing artefacts including tickets and many pictures of the Hull and Barnsley Railway around Hull and the Wolds.
SInce June 2022, members of the H&BRSF and YWR have been hard at work restoring the Sprotbrough signal box right here at Fimber Halt. Whilst not yet fully complete, we will be offering visits for those that wish to walk down the line to have a closer look at the work. As we are an operating railway, this will be limited to 15 people per time slot, and on a first come first served basis. Visits will take place at 11am, 1pm, 2pm, and 3pm. You are not able to “pre book” visiting slots – sorry.
The rest of the YWR will be open as usual with trains running* from 10-4
