Taking a break from his very busy schedule, Saturday the 30 November, along with the 7 and 14 December between 10-3 will see Father Christmas return to Fimber Halt for 2024. For only £5, children under 10 can get to meet him in his grotto on platform 1!
We will also be selling our beautiful, locally grown Nordmann Fir trees ranging from around 5-8ft for only £30.
In addition, we will be giving winter brake van rides priced at £5 per person, or £12.50 for a family of 5. Due to their popularity, we recommend that you book your brake van ride online on our website. Simply visit
