East Yorkshire's only Heritage Railway Attraction!

Vintage Day – Sunday 24th June

As part of the 2018 celebrations commemorating 60 years since the closure of the Malton and Driffield Junction Railway, and celebrating 10 years since the renaissance as the Yorkshire Wolds Railway, we are proud to be hosting a Vintage Day on site at Fimber Halt on Sunday 24th June from 11 -5. On site activities including traditional games such as test your strength and hook a duck will be running, vintage vehicles, and rides on our locomotive “Sir Tatton Sykes”. We will also be joined by the Malton Dickens Society whom at 1 and 3pm will be presenting a play about Alfred Dickens, engineer of the Malton and Driffield Junction Railway and brother of author Charles Dickens.

In association with Sledmere House who are also holding their Vintage Day, a vintage shuttle bus service will be running between the 2 sites!
